DAYBREAK GROWERS ALLIANCE SHARE POLICY


We offer a subscription-based service: you as the customer are signing up for regularly scheduled deliveries. Deliveries can be selected to be weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the share type. Shares are purchased in 8 week “seasons”, or as one-time shares. You can pay in full for your shares on sign up, or use a payment plan to distribute the cost of shares throughout the season. Daybreak Growers Alliance  guarantees the highest quality and freshness. If for any reason, you are not happy, please contact us at farmers@daybreakgrowersalliance.com. We will be happy to give you a refund or credit for any product or order that does not meet your standards. Please contact us within two weeks of purchase for refunds on your order.

How does payment work?

Pre-pay for the whole season, or use our payment plan to distribute the cost of shares throughout the season.

The payment plan works as follows: you pay 25% of your order total on sign up, 25% the first week of delivery, and the remaining 50% of your balance split between each delivery, which is charged automatically the week of delivery.

Weekly deliveries includes 8 deliveries per share season, and bi-weekly deliveries includes 4 deliveries per share season.

Any extras you add on to your shares are charged to you in full during the week you purchase them.

We do not store any of your personal or financial information on our website. Our order site is run by Harvie and your information is stored securely.

How do I access my account?

After signing up, you can access your account by going to this site: https://www.harvie.farm/login You can view your shares, change your item preferences, change your pick up location, credit card info, or password, and reschedule or place a delivery hold by signing in to your account.

Where can I pick up my order?

Please remember to pick up your order or have a friend, family member or co-worker do so.

What if I miss my pick up?

If you did not cancel your order by the cancellation deadline (Thursday 11pm) and are a workplace share participant, please make arrangements with a co-worker to pick up your share. For non-workplace share participants, your order will be donated to a hunger relief organizations and will go to an individual or family in need. We’re sorry but we cannot give a credit for boxes that are not picked up; but don’t worry, the produce will not go to waste.

How do I change my pick up location?

If you want to change your pick up location, please do so by Thursday 11pm the week before your delivery. If you switch and then want to switch back, you’ll need to log into your account again or email us to do so.

What if I am going on vacation, or don't want to order for a week?

You may put your share delivery on hold by logging into your account. Please do this before 11pm on Thursday  for the coming week. Your credit/debit card will not be charged while your delivery is on hold. You may place up to 3 holds per calendar year. You may reschedule your delivery to a different day or week any amount of times per year. For emergencies or assistance, call us at 207-808-2189 or email farmers@daybreakgrowersalliance.com.

How will I learn about details pertaining to my orders and membership to Daybreak Growers Alliance?

Daybreak Growers Alliance communicates with you via email on a regular basis to inform you of a payment or to remind you of a scheduled pick up. Sometimes we will need to send out alerts about your order or inform you about happenings with our share program. By becoming a Daybreak Share member you are agreeing to open and read all email communications as soon as you see them since much of the information is time sensitive. We will be respectful of only sending pertinent details via email.

You will also receive weekly emails from Harvie to finalize the contents of your share box - you don’t need to do anything, but can choose to swap out or add on items during the order window each week (Wednesday & Thursday for the following week).

How do I cancel my subscription?

You may cancel your subscription completely at any time, by contacting us by 11 pm on the Thursday in advance of your next scheduled share delivery. To cancel your subscription, please call us at 207-808-2189 or email farmers@daybreakgrowersalliance.com. Please include Share Cancellation in the subject line, and include your full name and delivery location in your message. Please also request an email to confirm your cancellation.

What happens during the holidays or during weather-related delivery interruptions?

We will give you plenty of notice about holiday date changes or any rescheduling due to weather.
